Help Understanding your results
AI trends
Compare your brand’s visibility, sentiment and position over successive AI scans.
AI trends overview
Open AI visibility → Visibility overview. This page follows AI-answer results over time. Source trends follows citations, and Traffic & results follows your own pages and Google data; they are separate pages.
Each chart point represents a measurement scan, not a calendar day. Two scans on the same day can have separate points. With one finished scan there is only a starting point; comparison becomes available after another measurement.
On Free, the dynamics preview illustrates the feature rather than showing a continuing history of your own scans. Use Billing to review plans.
Choose the metric and scope
Use the category and model filters and select 5, 15, 30 or 60 scans. The headline values show your visibility, average position, sentiment and gap to the top competitor, with changes where a previous measurement exists.
Select AI visibility, Sentiment or Avg position for the three charts:
- You vs competitors compares your brand with tracked competitors.
- By category compares categories.
- By assistant compares AI models.
The by-category chart keeps every category and highlights your category selection. It does not hide all the other categories. Brand and model charts follow the category filter.
Read a chart and its markers
Hover a point to see its values, change from the previous scan and the number of runs behind it. A missing measurement is not zero. Check the selected models and the available answers when a point has no value.
Click a legend entry to hide or show its line; double-click to isolate it, and double-click again to restore the other lines. Additional legend entries let you show series outside the initial selection. Click the vertical-axis control to switch between the full scale and a scale fitted to visible data.
Shaded intervals mark changes to the measured prompt set, such as adding, removing or moving prompts. Inspect the marker before comparing the two readings. Other action markers identify recorded changes to the setup.
Dashed lines identify the first scan after a recorded publication. They locate a publication in the measurement history; they do not establish that it caused the next change.
Find the categories and competitors that moved
Categories: what moved and Competitors: what moved show current visibility and its change from the previous scan. These tables remain visibility comparisons when you select sentiment or position for the charts.
The category table retains all categories. Click a category to apply it to the page filter; click it again to clear that selection. The competitor table follows the category and model filters. Click a brand to open its details, and expand the tables when more rows are available.
To explain a change, return to Prompts & answers and inspect the dated answers behind it.
