The opening slides

Identify the explanatory slides before reading your brand’s measured results.

Opening slides overview

After the cover, the report introduces AI Representation Management: the context, measurement, recommendations, publication and re-measurement loop. These slides explain the method and the role of assistants and web sources. They are shared explanatory material, rather than measurements of your brand.

Recognize an illustrative example

Sample for illustration only, not your data marks a mock conversation or diagram. The example shows how to read an answer or a crawler check; its names, rankings and numbers are not your scan results.

A mock can use your brand name to make the explanation easier to follow. The presence of that name alone does not make the example a measured answer. Read the example label and the surrounding explanation.

Where a slide cites public research, its footnotes identify the external source. Those figures have their own scope and date; they are separate from the scan data summarized on your cover.

Understand the measurement loop

The explanatory funnel separates brand mentions, citations and website visits. These are different observations. A mention need not contain a link, and a citation need not lead to a visit.

The process slides connect business context with questions, measurements, recommendations and publication. Re-measurement lets you compare later observations; it does not prove that one publication caused a change.

The crawler explanation introduces access checks. Your actual access findings begin in the Site audit slides. An example of a blocked crawler is not a finding about your domain.

Move from explanations to your results

Use the cover’s section references and the Report guide to find your site checks, saved profile, prompt table and competitor comparison. Inspect prompt wording and data dates before interpreting percentages. The later scan-method and language slides also contain explanations; continue distinguishing those from the measured tables beside them.
