E-E-A-T

Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness and Trustworthiness: aspects Google uses to describe content quality. Trust is central; E-E-A-T is not a single ranking factor.

Explanation

Google uses a mix of signals to identify content that demonstrates these qualities. Its human quality raters assess search results, but their ratings do not directly determine page rankings.

Make the author, relevant experience, evidence and purpose clear. For a product review, explain what was tested and how, rather than relying on a credential or author label alone.

These practices help readers judge reliability. They are not a separate AI score, and adding author markup does not guarantee citations.
